What you receive

Portrait Backdrop Vault is a digital product, not a physical backdrop or an editing service. The complete Vault includes 160 JPG backdrops in 10 collections, a visual catalog, English and Italian guides, and the product licence. The files are delivered electronically in 11 ZIP archives. The example portraits and people pictured on the site are not included.

Using the backdrops

A purchase licenses the files to one person or one studio business. You may edit the backdrops and use them in unlimited finished photographs for yourself or your clients, including portfolio and promotional work. Your clients may use the finished images you deliver, but do not receive rights to the backdrop files.

You may not resell, share or redistribute the original backdrops, use them as standalone stock or print-on-demand backgrounds, or use them to train or fine-tune machine learning models. For multi-studio use, contact us. The full product licence sets out the permitted uses and restrictions in both languages.

Orders and delivery

Purchases are processed through Shopify. The final checkout details are shown there before payment. Access to the digital files is provided electronically after a successful purchase. Keep your order email for help with delivery. If you cannot access a file, please contact support.

Immediate delivery and right of withdrawal

Portrait Backdrop Vault is digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. It is delivered electronically as downloadable files.

Before checkout, a dedicated checkbox separate from any marketing opt-in asks you to agree to immediate digital delivery and accept these Terms. The checkbox is not preselected. Your choice, language and date and time in UTC are passed to Shopify as order attributes; the contract must also be confirmed as required by law. The conditions for any loss of the right of withdrawal are explained below.

This exception is based on Article 59(1)(o) of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), implementing Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU. For a paid contract, it applies only if delivery has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent, the consumer has acknowledged losing the right of withdrawal, and the trader has provided the legally required confirmation of the contract on a durable medium. Checking the box or accepting these terms alone does not extinguish the right.

Where all these conditions are met, no right of withdrawal applies to that order and the online withdrawal function under Article 54-bis of the Italian Consumer Code (introduced by Legislative Decree 209/2025, implementing EU Directive 2023/2673) is not required for that order. If valid consent or another required condition is missing, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal applies under the relevant law. Availability and limitations

Results depend on your source photo, editing tools and technique. The guides are a starting point, not a promise of a particular result. Nothing in these terms or the licence excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
